Acupuncture

Acupuncture originated in China thousands of years ago, and it continues to be used throughout the world today to treat a multitude of ailments. Through the use of sterilized, thin needles placed in one or more of the 350 designated spots, the acupuncturist can balance the body’s energy flow. These spots tend to be where nerves, muscles, and connective tissue can be stimulated. Today, acupuncture is regularly used to complement Western medical procedures. However, it is also considered, by some, as an alternative to Western medical interventions. Generally, the client will have a pain-free experience when performed by a licensed, professional, trained in acupuncture. It is considered a credible form of treatment by the Center for Disease Control, the FDA, and the National Institute of Health. There are no known side effects.
