Adderall, also known as Dextroamphetamine-Amphetamine, is a drug commonly used to treat an attention deficit hyperactive disorder or ADHD. The drug alters the chemical balance of natural substances in the brain, that may be at the root of the disease. Adderall is in the class of drugs known as Stimulants.  It is also used for the sleep disorder known as narcolepsy. Adderall can be addictive and cause withdrawal symptoms.
