Eating the right foods is a very important piece to the puzzle when it comes to getting clean and sober. This is not taught in the standard treatment model. The food that we consume on a daily basis is THE biggest determining factor as to how we are going to feel physically, mentally, emotionally for that given day.
We make it a point to teach our clients the importance of eating clean, wholesome, nutrient dense foods. We also guide our clients on how to shop for these foods and how to prepare them. We take our clients grocery shopping and teach them what to look for, what it means to “shop the perimeter”, and how to get the best bang for their buck!
We have teamed up with a healthy meal prep service that caters all of our food for each one of our groups so we know, and the clients know, they are going to get a delicious healthy meal when they attend group. We intentionally have them deliver more than necessary so we can send our clients home with a to-go container of food for the next day.
