Addiction Personality

Becoming addicted to a substance or behavior is complex. There are many factors which when combined increase the likelihood of addiction. They are genetic, environmental, and psychological. People use drugs, the internet, sex, alcohol, food, whatever because they enjoy the initial high, the thrill, the challenge, to numb a feeling, or they succumb to social pressures. There are many reasons a person develops an addictive personality.
